Pilots help children select the color of helmets they wanted & fit the size appropriate for the child at the Clara Barton Event in Hoisington.

Riders of all ages rode bicycles, motorcycles, & golf carts. Great Bend Pilots were on hand to fit helmets for people who needed one. Rev. Kathie Luke (new Pilot member) said a prayer prior to the start of the ride.
Pilots Fit Helmets before the CORE Community Meeting

Wise Old Owl tells children the importance of protecting their brains by wearing a proper fitted helmet. Amy Mayhill entertained the children by reading to them & dancing with actions to the books.
Great Bend Pilot Club is known as the Helmet People since they have been fitting hlemets throuhout the community for various events such as giving a hlemet to each child in the public school system who had perfect attendance, Royal Kids Camp for Foster Children, Family Fun Bicycle Ride, Devin’s Ride and Bicycle Rally in Ellinwood.
