Pilot Club Provides Hands-On-Support to Their Community

Great Bend Pilot Club members make an impact in their community through service and donations.  Annually Pilot Club sponsors the Walk to End Alzheimer's and makes blankets and quilts for the children in the foster care system.  Previously they provided booster seats to families and bike helmets to our youth. Members provided the pool lift at Club 1 Fitness, helped purchase the playground equipment for the Tot Spot and donated electronic learning games to multiple care organizations. Pilots also provided outdoor riding toys, dry eraser boards, Kindles and Zoo Phonics to the Sunflower Early Education Center.

The members present the Brain Minders Program to preschool and to kindergarten students and Body Venture to fourth grade students at local schools. Pilot Club is currently working on an Autism Workshop for educators, families and professionals scheduled for Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Barton County Community College.
